I only just found the original file!

Seeing as this image is getting a second revival I thought I might as well submit a freshly coloured, much larger version.

i assume you mean this one. and, well, two girls in a bed vs. two old men sitting by the water... the subject matter alone means its going to be more popular, heh.

this it is a great photo, though. and, although i love high contrast b&w shots, i think i may slightly prefer this one to "the girls II". the soft tones add a hint of warmth to the photo. more fragile than the stark b&w one.

Yeah, I think the colour really adds to it myself. It gives the image a more, well, natural and candid look I think.

But yes, at first I was all "Why does everyone like this, its badly shot!" and then I realized it was two girls cuddled up in bed... ohhhh right! :P
